Dear members,
It's finally here, study week (holiday)! After a successful day at Walibi and a fun start to the year, we’re all ready for a week of rest. Read the newsletter to get up to date again. The board wishes you a happy study week (holiday)!
On Monday October 9 we had the first General Member Meeting (GMM) of the year. Here the members of the Advisory Board and the Audit Committee were hammered in, if you want to know who these are, check the website! In addition, the Code of Conduct was also hammered in at the GMM, you can find this in Dutch and English on the website under documents.
We thought the turnout was low and hope there will be a higher turnout at the next GMM. After all, this is also important for you.
We also bowled on September 28, you threw a lot of strikes which earned you a lot of points. It was almost sold out and it was super fun.
On Monday October 16, we went to Walibi with study association Tapp and with our partner YER. As you could already see on the front page, this was completely sold out! It was a very successful day, and we hope for a good cooperation with YER this year. On the website are some pictures from Walibi.
Every second Wednesday of the month we have a coffee hour at 10:00, these are always very sociable. So, if you have time, you are very welcome to the next one on November 8!
For next month we will organize a sports activity! There will be more information about this later.
On the 18th of September, we had a drink at De Brouwerij, which was very enjoyable. On Tuesday 31 October at 22:00 we will have a Halloween drink in De Brouwerij, it will be a big party. Put on your best Halloween outfit because it will be so much fun. The first 100 beer/soft drink will be free!
